TwinHills Indigenous Blessing Ceremony

An offering of tobacco was made by Elder Doreen Healy of the Kainai Nation, Blood Tribe for a smudging ceremony of blessing. TwinHills, honoring the land and past spirits.

Each component of the smudge represents the four elements (water, air, fire, and Mother Earth), reinforcing our relationship with nature.

The North, East, South, and West corners of the site were blessed with tobacco, to give thanks to Mother Earth for the land and our promise for TwinHills Sustainability approach to improve our Mother Earth.
